USTA Tennessee has been busy planning for resumption of play as well as partnering with USTA National and Southern to help our providers, facilities and tennis partners during the pandemic. USTA has awarded $172,000 in grant money in the state of Tennessee to teaching professionals who have been without work and facilities who have been shut down and are reopening. We are currently working on the last set of grants which will include all “other” tennis providers. These are your league and tournament fees hard at work!
USTA has also been preparing for a thoughtful, safe resumption of play for everyone. We have created an Event Resource Kit for all of our providers and event organizers. See the video here: (LINK) We are following the USTA Playing Tennis Safely guidelines which can be found here: Playing Tennis Safely: Guidelines for players and facilities as we plan for all future events in the state. We are proud to be a part of the sport that lets you keep your social distance without being socially distant!
We look forward to seeing you on the courts soon!
