Hosted by USTA Tennessee and Nashville Metro Parks & Recreation and supported by Tennis Nashville, another Community Center Challenge was a huge success as ten community centers joined together to show off their tennis skills at Hadley Park Tennis Center. Through an ongoing partnership with USTA TN and Nashville Metro Parks & Recreation, hundreds of kids have been introduced to tennis and have had the opportunity to play weekly in their centers and participate in special Challenge Days! Thank you to all the Community Centers who participated: Southeast, Hadley Park, Sevier Park, Old Hickory, McCabe Park, Kirkpatrick, Madison, Morgan, Coleman, and Parkwood!
While it is fun to be competitive and challenge one another, fun and teamwork were emphasized throughout the day. With warm-ups, games, and competitive match play throughout the day, the challenge ended with awards to those who displayed the best team spirit and sportsmanship!
