Charity Spotlight: For more information about Tennis Memphis, please visit www.tennismemphis.org or contact their Executive Director, Stephen Lang at slang@tennismemphis.org.

Memphis Rocks T-Shirts: Wear your Memphis pride and help us build the MPD Fallen Officer Memorial! You can purchase your Memphis Rocks shirts at www.MemphisRocksMerch.com or through Champion Awards & Apparel and their www.Tshirtchampions.com by calling 855-350-4830.  All proceeds benefit the MPD Fallen Officer Memorial. If you want to add your company logo, in order to offer them to your team or use as giveaways for a fun promotion (ordering in bulk), please contact Mike Bowen at 901-365-4830 or mike@gochampion.net.

Fallen Officer Memorial: We’re helping to spearhead the Fallen Officer Memorial, which is a $1 million, 100% privately funded project to honor the 64 MPD Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. We are one of the few cities around the nation that does not have something to honor their sacrifices and have a place where family, friends, and the community can gather to remember them. We are working hard to change that and, so far, have raised over $150,000 through individual and corporate donations. A good number of that has also come from proceeds from our Memphis Rocks shirts. This is a one-time ask and one-time opportunity to have your name or company’s name listed on the donor honor wall, as a contributor in bringing this monument to our community. Please consider making the Fallen Officer Memorial a part of your holiday giving or budget. Click here to learn more and download a contribution form. All contributions are collected by the Memphis/Shelby County Law Enforcement Foundation, a certified nonprofit, and 100% of your contribution goes toward the project.

Giving for Growth: Our second book, Giving for Growth, was released on November 5. Giving for Growth focuses on how you can achieve success in your career and life, but do it in a way that benefits and helps others and your community, in the process. It's everything we are doing with the LPBC and outlines The Three Truths, Trends in Corporate Philanthropy, and helpful strategies and tactics to create your own legacy of making a difference. Similar to our first book, Giving Back with Purpose, proceeds will benefit youth literacy programs here in the Mid-South. We have some great endorsements from people like the Publisher of Forbes, Governor Haslam, and many other local and national leaders, so we’re definitely excited to share it with all of you. You can purchase the book at The Booksellers at Laurelwood or you can order it on Amazon

Yuletide Office Solutions Toy Truck Drive Benefiting Porter-Leath: We need your help to provide gifts to over 5,800 at-risk, low-income children in Memphis. Toy donations are needed and monetary gifts will also be accepted…and matched by Porter-Leath’s Secret Santa. Getting involved is easy, simply reach out to Todd Miller at Yuletide Office Solutions at 901-372-8588 or toddmiller@yuletideop.com and let him know how many boxes you would like delivered to your office.  Fill the boxes with toys and/or monetary gifts, then Yuletide will pick everything up when complete.  The drive goes now through December 17, 2015.

Memphis Open presented by ServiceMaster: The Memphis Open presented by ServiceMaster takes place February 6-14, 2016 at the Racquet Club of Memphis.  As mentioned today, there are exciting new opportunities with VIP ticket packages, Champagne Tables, and even exclusive dining packages.  Plus, the match times are being moved back to 2 PM, so you can enjoy late afternoon matches that flow right into the evening rounds.  Make plans to be a part of the Memphis Open by visiting www.memphisopen.com.
