10 and Under players from Kentucky and Tennessee gathered at Vanderbilt University to take part in an Early Development Camp on October 15th. The camp was the first of it’s kind, bringing together players and coaches from two states to partake in the EDC. “Converting Green Ball Defense into Offense” was the technical theme of the camp, which encompassed “Resiliency” as a character theme. Players and parents had the opportunity to hear Vanderbilt University’s Women’s Coach, Geoff McDonald, speak about resiliency and other relatable topics. USTA Tennessee would like to thank coaches Karl Davies, Meg Bandy, Steve Rueff, and Danny Schmidt for leading an excellent camp. We would also like to thank USTA KY and USTA Southern for supporting the EDC.
